Our Attorneys in San Diego, California and Tijuana, Mexico
In all our matters, William Markham and Antonio Maldonado chart the underlying strategy and perform the essential legal analysis. If the client agrees in advance, we sometimes associate with other attorneys in our larger matters or delegate certain simple tasks to a junior attorney who performs the work at a lower hourly rate under the direct supervision of Mr. Markham or Mr. Maldonado. We associate only with attorneys who have excellent backgrounds and meet our professional standards.
Mr. Markham is the firm's lead litigator for all United States trial work and litigation and is directly supported by a superb team. Ms. Laura Avila is his principal paralegal assistant, helping him to gather, analyze, organize, and present evidence in our litigations. He also receives invaluable asistance from Ms. Ana Acosta, who is his general office assitant. Mr. Markham tries all of his own cases, but often collaborates with associate attorneys and other attorneys on specific matters, working only with others who meet the firm's criteria of professional excellence.
Mr. Maldonado is the firm's lead attorney for transactional work and Mexico litigation. He employs associate attorneys and a superb team of paralegal assistants, and he engages other attorneys from time to time for special assignments. Our transactional and cross-border practice group also engages other attorneys and specialists when engaged in substantial cross-border matters.
In addition, we sometimes collaborate with other attorneys in certain of our larger matters, and we can readily assemble a team of first-rate litigators for the largest efforts that require more substantial staffing.
